Title: Homebound Teacher
Position Type: High School Teaching
Reports To: Homebound Coordinator
Hourly Pay: $54/hour (direct teaching and up to 1 hour of planning time for each hour of teaching)
No other benefits are associated with this position

QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience or Training):

Valid Illinois Professional Educators Teaching License with H.S. endorsement in Science
Previous HS Chemistry teaching experience
Experience teaching Biology Chemistry Physics or Earth Science is preferred

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow classroom teachers lesson plans. Teach prescribed academic coursework
Teach 1- 5 hours a week - Flexible scheduling (days weekends evenings) as agreed upon with student and parents
Maintain accurate records
Ability to teach via video conference and navigate needed online resources
Other duties as assigned

OTHER INFORMATION:

District will provide support related to lesson planning
