- Planning the materials requirement reviewing releasing expediting de-expediting or canceling POs (Purchase Orders) based on MRP (Material Requirement Planning).
- Following up on shipment status with suppliers as delivery is planned.
- Identify potential critical raw materials provide actions and prepare supply allocation plans.
- Analysis and escalate any significant raw materials and supplier delivery issues to the manager so that production plan and supply to customers are not interrupted.
- Manage raw material slow-moving & expiry inventory and review with the raw material planning team. Projection of items quantity and amount to be consumed. Identify the root causes & actions assign them to the team and track the actions progress. Summary of written-off inventory and chargeback proposal.
- Monitoring of raw material inventory level. Generating SEM (Short Excess & Mismatch) inventory report. Working with a raw material planning team to identify the root causes actions and progress.
- Understanding of product transition which impacts the raw material including phase-in and phase-out timeline. Participate in the product transition meetings representing the supply chain team
- Performing any other related assignments as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Science Business Admin or related fields.
- Preferable 2 years experience in Raw Material Planning Inventory Control and Data Analysis.
- Experience in a Manufacturing Industry is preferable.
- Good in Microsoft Excel and experienced in ERP systems would be advantageous.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work under a pressured environment
- Good analytical and statistical skills
- Good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Self-initiated and able to work effectively to meet the deadline
- Good team player service-minded and negotiation skills
