Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking aPower Platform Developerto help build tools and automate processes that drive business efficiency. This role focuses on designing and maintaining custom business applications usingPower AppsandPower Automate while also contributing toPower BIdashboards and light system integrations.
The ideal candidate brings experience developing business-facing apps working with SQL data sources and collaborating with end users to solve workflow challenges. You will work closely with IT peers and business teams to support and enhance the internal tech ecosystem.
Compensation: 90k to 100k
Location: Irving Tx
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm - Hybrid (2 days remote/3 days in office)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop user-friendly business applications usingPower Apps (Canvas).
- Automate workflows and processes withPower Automate.
- Build and maintainPower BIdashboards that support internal reporting and decision-making.
- Connect apps and workflows toSQL databasesSharePoint and other internal systems.
- Work directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide documentation and light user training for tools you create.
- Follow internal governance and security best practices for Power Platform solutions.
- Collaborate with senior developers on advanced integrations and projects when needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 24 years of experience withMicrosoft Power Platform(Power Apps Power Automate Power BI).
- Proficiency inSQLand understanding of data structures and relational models.
- Exposure toPower BIdashboard development (intermediate level).
- Ability to work with SharePoint SQL Databases and file systems as data sources.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative solution-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience withModel-Driven Appsorcustom connectors.
- Familiarity withMicrosoft Dynamics CRMAzure SQL orREST APIintegrations.
- Exposure toPowerShellJavaScript or light scripting.
- Background in data visualization workflow mapping or low-code environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
