Maintenance System Engineer
She/He is in charge of Maintenance System Engineering activities interfacing with suppliers and customers in the following working cases:
- Optimization of the Maintenance Plan of existing rolling stock
- Revamping/Retrofit/Modification activities on existing rolling-stock
- High-level engineering support to depot operational structure with the aim to solve technical issues deriving from the revenue service of existing rolling stock (from investigation to modification implementation and problem closure)
- Preferred with a previous background on brake sub system and academic knowledge in pneumatic
Responsibilities
Technical core activities:
Responsible for the activities related to the working cases listed above.
On Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) request participating to technical meetings with project management and customer in order to provide and reporting:
Performing reporting at project level (to PrEM via KPI) and at Mtier level (via weekly reports).
Supporting PrEM for the implementation and update of engineering risks mitigation plan change order process and QCD optimization.
Providing Return of Experience to be implemented in Reference Solutions.
Knowledge & Experience
General technical engineering competencies;
More than 2 years in Railways engineering domain;
English & Communication skills;
Team-working oriented;
Able to deal with unforeseen and unexpected events reorganizing work plans accordingly.
