In this high-impact role youll lead strategic growth initiatives including acquisitions investments and market entry strategies. This role is a hybrid position visiting our Basingstoke office twice per month with travel also an essential part of the role with expected travel to our offices in Wisconsin USA

• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for Genus and its business units with a focus on M&A and market expansion.
• Monitor global market trends and competitive intelligence across agriculture biotech and adjacent sectors.
• Source evaluate and execute investment and acquisition opportunities aligned with company priorities.
• Build and manage M&A pipelines; prepare briefings for executive leadership and board discussions.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence and support post-deal integration efforts.
• Cultivate strategic alliances and partnerships that drive innovation and market leadership.
• Maintain and enhance robust financial models to support deal analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal finance operations) and external advisors.

• 58 years experience in Corporate Finance M&A Strategy or Transaction Services.
• ACA ACCA CFA or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced financial modelling and business case development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects with high attention to detail.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting to executive audiences.
• Track record of working in or with consulting firms investment banks or corporate development teams.
