We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front Office Team Member to join our dynamic team in Manchester United Kingdom. As the face of our organization you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences for our guests from check-in to check-out.
- Warmly welcome and greet guests ensuring a positive first impression of our establishment
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes handling guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate guest accounts and process payments with attention to detail
- Handle telephone calls emails and in-person inquiries in a courteous and timely manner
- Promote hotel facilities and services maximizing sales opportunities through product knowledge and effective communication
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks and reports as needed
- Stay informed about local attractions and services in Manchester to provide helpful recommendations to guests
- Adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure during busy periods
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in customer service preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer systems with experience in Opera Cloud property management system preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of local attractions and services in Manchester is beneficial
