About the role

We are looking for a Company Banking Officer to join the Elders team on a full-time 18-month fixed term contract.

This exciting opportunity based in Adelaide will operate as the vital connection between the Elders head office and Elders branches in cashiering transactions to ensure accurate reconciliation of daily bank statements. Additionally the role oversees the Cash Manager and banking systems submitting and retrieving electronic data (payments and receipts) and conducting daily reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all daily and monthly bank reconciliations ensuring data is identical to General Ledger and investigating/resolving all discrepancies.
  • Management of outsourced cheques electronic funds transfers and direct credits
  • Engagement and communication with Elders branches across Australia to investigate and resolve any transaction discrepancies.

About you

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable
  • Experience in accounting clerical procedures
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel and sound knowledge of Word and Outlook
  • Sound administrative organisational analytical and problem-solving skills.
