With the launch of the new platform in 2019 Vado Ligure became the first semi-automated port in Italy with a fully automated gate and stacking yard.
Vado Gateway is one of the most competitive terminals in Europe combining innovation automation intermodal connectivity and the ability to offer fully integrated and complex services such as cold storage project cargo Ro-Ro and intermodal transport.
We are currently looking for a Gate & Cargo Controller (Intern - Tirocinio) who will join our team based in Vado Ligure.

The role:
The Gate and Cargo Controller is responsible for ensuring that containers coming in and out of the terminal are in compliance with requirements and have the necessary authorizations. In order to perform this check automation or OCR are used. The Controller updates TOS with requests of ancillary services from internal customers and manages the cars traffic.
The Controller reports to the Gate Manager based in Vado Ligure.

Location: The position is placed in Vado Ligure Italy. No relocation support is provided for this role.
