Job Description

Tasks inspiring you
Your key responsibilities:
- Customize and configure MES software solutions for production environments.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Support integration with databases and production systems.
- Collaborate with project managers developers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide user training and documentation.
Qualifications that inspire us
- Completed IHK Ausbildung or Bachelors degree in IT Engineering or related fields
- Solid knowledge of databases and strong programming skills (demonstrated through university private projects or student jobs)
- 35 years of programming experience preferably including PL/SQL Oracle Java and Python
- Experience with MES software and practical understanding of production environments
- Comfortable communicating in English (B2) and German (B2)
- Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles is a plus
- Industry knowledge in process industries
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%
- Based in NRW or open to relocation
- Available for at least 32 hours/week full-time preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly
A plus is always nice
- French language skills to support clients or teams in Francophone regions.
- A valid drivers license helpful for onsite visits in various locations.
- Industry knowledge in steel or aluminum production enabling you to engage with clients in these sectors with greater insight.
