Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
The Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides the core Support Services of Non-ward Cleaning Gardens and Grounds Distribution Security Ward Support Food Services and Car Parking.
The position of FSA is a key operational role within the Support Services and Food Services team.
The Role
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Food Services team as an FSA. In this role you will be required to plate meals prepare meal items such as mid meal snacks sandwiches and desserts wash dishes and complete other cleaning tasks. We are also looking for staff to join the team and assist with delivering meals between sites which would require a current drivers licence.
Youwill have a background of experience in Food Services within Health & Aged Care Facilities or equivalent. Ahigh level of flexibility and motivation to achieve set standards is required.
You will be able to work both in a team environment and autonomously and possess good time management skills. The understanding and practicing of infection control & and food safety principles is essential.
