About the role:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Instructional Designer & Developer to design develop and implement impactful learning solutions. This role will be required to support the People Home Tribe an Enterprise-wide strategic initiative that will make a genuine positive impression on the daily lives of our employees and leaders by building a modern HR function for our Australian and New Zealand businesses.

Working under the Momentum (scaled agile) delivery model this role will join an already established Change Management team in the People Home Tribe and support organisational change management activities required for the new Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) platform new Payroll and Time & Labour platforms including integrations downstream to support Suncorp internal platforms.

Working closely with Tribe Learning Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end learning process including needs analysis design and development to deliver timely purpose-built learning solutions that enhance understanding and use of our people time and payroll systems across the business.

We are seeking someone who adopts a user-centric design approach creating tailored solutions that cater to diverse learner needs and preferences. You will have strong expertise in using advanced training tools and methodologies in a corporate setting and will be responsible to develop online instructor-led and blended learning experiences including consideration of Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) and other in-application learning supports that align with outcomes using research-based principles and robust methods to measure effectiveness.

What youll do:

  • Design and develop engaging learning content including eLearning modules instructor-led courses and blended learning solutions using tools like Lectora Articulate Storyline/Rise and Adobe Captivate to create interactive and visually appealing eLearning modules.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and technical teams in the development of system training designed to prepare end users for new technology and/or processes.
  • Support the development and updating of content for OGL ensuring these digital adoption tools meet business requirements and provide key user guidance at key points of the system.
  • Build structured learning paths for different user groups/personas ensuring a consistent and aligned experience across the learner journey.
  • Partner with business units transformation teams and stakeholders to gather insights and requirements for effective learning design.
  • Develop assessments and post-training evaluations to measure learning effectiveness and engagement.

About you:

  • Youre energised by finding new ways to make learning stickthrough storytelling gamification microlearning and immersive technologiesand are always scanning the horizon for emerging tools and trends.
  • 5 years of experience in designing learning solutions for corporate training environments preferably with experience in system implementations or technical training.
  • 2 years working within Agile environments
  • Highly proficient with eLearning development tools such as Lectora Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate and related learning platforms (LMS).
  • Proven experience in developing digital adoption solutions (e.g. Oracle Guided Learning/WalkMe) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE SAM).
  • Experience with large-scale software implementations particularly with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Payroll and Time & Labour Management (TLM).
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic change-driven environment.
