We are seeking a Band 8a Pharmacist to join our esteemed client in Birmingham. This role involves working on wards with dispensary support ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering two wards and clinical dispensary sessions following a short induction period.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires expertise in hospital pharmacy including medication reviews clinical dispensary support and ward-based pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications advising healthcare professionals on drug therapies and ensuring compliance with NHS protocols. Additionally maintaining accurate patient records collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines are essential aspects of the role.
