Totley Primary School
Totley Primary School is a happy thriving school providing high quality education both in the classroom and throughout a wide range of extra-curricular activities. We are very proud of our children and believe they should perform well academically and develop as people.
Our outstanding school covers the ages 4-11 and is two-form entry accommodating approximately 425 children. The school is in the suburb of Totley in South Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District.
The role
Totley Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious talentedand caring candidate to join our team as a teaching assistant level 2. This is a part time role with hours to be negotiated for the right candidate. This role is fixed term for one year.
This role is to work as part of a team of teaching assistants and alongside class teachers to assist with the teaching and support of children in order to provide high quality provision. Some of the children with whom you would be working could have specific needs. These may include autism ADHD learning and speech difficulties and/or social emotional and behavioural needs. You will be required to understand and support children facingthese barriers alongside working more broadly with a wide range of children.
