JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The Commodity Leader reporting to the Commodity Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Strong involvement and implementation of Indirect Procurement GLOBALcommodity strategies on Temporary Labour and General Services.
- Support Indirect procurement network on Sites to ensure the respect of the procurement commodity strategies.
- Manage operational needs for HQ (RFP process)
- Responsible of QCDT management for commodities
- Operational sourcing responsibility on negotiation cross sites/businesses bundling
- Animate Saving Plan at a global level
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE:
Supplier relationship:
- Manage global supplier RFQ from end-to-end
- Negotiation of worldwide Frame Agreements: Strong knowledge of legal clauses
- Ensure global QCDT targets achievement & claims management for the global suppliers in charge
- Lead supplier QCDT performance reviews
- Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines
Commodity support:
- Commodity representative to support Procurement maturity
- Consolidation of commodity needs inputs
- Strong input to build differentiation forAlstom through supplier innovation
- Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- RFQ management process for HQ
- Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders
- Apply the Alstom procurement process and provide return on experience
- Actively participateto challengeourprocurement KPI
Operational involvement:
- In charge ofoperationalactivity on specific segment
- Monitor Buyer activity on specific segment
- Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation and contract management
- Lead Saving Plan for commodities
Performance measurements
- Savings P&L and Cost to Complete
- Non-Conformities Report and On Time Delivery
- FAI on time
- Panel situation Supplier compliancy status rate
PROFILE:
To be considered for this role candidate need to be able to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
Educational Degree
- Business School or Engineering school and MASTER in Purchasing
Technical Competencies required for the role
- Around five years working experience in purchasing
- Technical and strong market knowledge of the commodity Temporary Labour and General Services
- Legal
Behavioral Competencies
- Fluent in English (mandatory) French will be a plus
- International background
- Strong interpersonal skills (indirect sourcing mindset leadership communication ability to convince and work with top management)
