Senior Cloud Security Engineer - Magic Arena

The Magic: The Gathering Arena team is looking for a collaborative and dedicated Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team in bringing Magic: The Gathering to life! Engage with a dedicated and experienced development organization which aligns with your interests and apply your knowledge of security best practices to a broad scale for Arena.

What Youll Do:

• Act as the first line of defense for Arena security. You will work both within your own squad to supervise existing architecture and collaborate with partner teams as new features are developed and released.
• Drive security of the C# game application and prevent game exploits keeping an eye towards input validation authentication and secure data transmission.
• Perform security assessments and improvements on cloud deployments in AWS.
• Monitor the network for security abnormalities perform intrusion detection and prevention and investigate any issues that occur.
• Establish security standards and leading practices for implementation across the Arena team.
• Consult with IT operations staff to drive security initiatives.

What Youll Bring:

• Firsthand experience with security tools such as Guard Duty Orca and SentinelOne.
• Strong proficiency with C# for game development and related tasks.
• Familiarity with common network system and web application attack vectors and related mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work on multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to autonomously identify and propose solutions that improve security capabilities drive operational efficiencies.
• Minimum 5 years of total relevant job experience.

Compensation Range Currency USD:

• Starting Pay Range: $134200
• Pay Range End: $201400
