The Role:Guernsey is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Structural BIM Technician to support our multidisciplinary design teams - including Structural Electrical Architectural Interiors and Mechanical Engineers. This role plays a critical part in advancing our design technology capabilities through Building Information Modeling (BIM) and construction document development.

Youll work closely with our Design Technology Coordinator to implement modeling strategies and ensure seamless coordination across disciplines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while working alongside a talented collaborative team.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with engineers and architects on the technical development of construction drawings and design documentation
  • Support BIM coordination and development across multiple disciplines
  • Assist in implementing design technology strategies standards and tools
  • Develop and refine Construction Documents in Revit
  • Coordinate with internal project teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy
  • Occasional travel for site visits and team coordination

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 5 years of proven experience supporting design teams in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel) and web conferencing tools
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project needs

    Essential Physical Functions:

    • Sit/stand at a desk or computer
    • Walk stoop stand and move around job sites
    • Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping standing and lifting up to 30 lbs.
    • Frequent communication via phone video or in-person meetings
    • Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods
    • Some project-based travel may be required
