The role of the Sr Global Data Analyst is to produce recurring reporting for monthly financial settlements and ad-hoc reporting for internal and external client needs. This role will report to the Sr. Product Strategy Manager and work closely with the Sr Systems & Process Manager to and ensure complete and accurate data upon delivery.
How you will create an impact
Ownership of monthly Premium Booking/Collections reconciliation for specific countries or regions.
Gather data from various sources ensuring its quality and accuracy meet expectations for providing details summaries and analysis to inform decision-making and improve business performance.
Collaborates with Global Accounts and local teams to ensure alignment on reporting reconciliation and forecasting for our programs.
Identify root causes when an issue may arise and solutions; work with Operations leadership SMEs and support staff to define short- and longer-term required improvements.
Facilitate user acceptance testing with IT when reporting or process revisions are completed to ensure solutions meet the business needs.
Contribute to project documentation such as business process documentation and other process workflow diagrams as required.
Support assigned business as usual and recurring standard processes including new product introduction product pricing revisions system error reviews & corrections and quarterly business reviews.
Establish good working relationships with the Global Accounts team as well as our counterparts in other departments at AIG (claims IT finance controller reinsurance etc.) posturing self as trusted source of knowledge on process and procedures.
What youll need to succeed
Experience with technical tools leveraged in operations IT and project management specifically: SQL Excel Jira & database experience.
Bachelors degree in business administration computer sciences or a related field.
3 years of experience in operations ideally with experience in the Warranty space.
Excellent time management communication and organizational skills.
Experience supporting requirements gathering analysis and documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute effective operational plans.
Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a large-scale organization.
