Are you a Psychology graduate eager to work hands-on with children who have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Join a warm and inclusive school in Wandsworth as a Behaviour Mentor where youll support pupils with autism and associated Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are passionate about autism behaviour support and mental health especially those considering careers in Educational Psychology Clinical Psychology or SEN Teaching.
What youll be doing as a Behaviour Mentor:
Supporting autistic children and those with SEMH needs across the classroom and in specialist settings
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions focused on emotional regulation routines and communication
Helping implement structured behaviour plans and autism-friendly strategies
Building safe trusting relationships with pupils who thrive on consistency
Promoting independence engagement and self-confidence through patient tailored support
Were looking for a Behaviour Mentor who:
Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology Sociology or a related subject
Has an interest in autism support behaviour intervention and child development
Can remain calm consistent and nurturing especially during moments of dysregulation
Has experience working with children ideally with additional needs or neurodiversity
Is available full-time from September 2025 July 2026
