The Lanes Group needs Drainage Assistants to join our Operational Teams out there on the front line to join our growing depot operational network.
About the Role:
- Location: Chester
- Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Salary: 12.25 per hour.

Responsibilities
- working as part of a two-person team assisting an experienced engineer to operate our high specification Jet/ Vac and CCTV units. Your projects will include any number of drainage related issues both reactive and planned.
- Although you start at the depot you will be mobile attending to all work activities within various work sectors including industrial rail utility commercial residential.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (7.00am-4pm) being flexible is important as you may be required to start earlier due to travel.
About you:
- You may already have previous experience working in the drainage or water industry but this is not essential as full training will be given.
- You will hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- An in date CSCS card would be an advantage but not essential.
- You will be expected to comply with all Group Health Safety and Environmental compliance full Training with be provided as part of a Group Induction Training package.
- As The Lanes Group operate 24/7 365 days a year there may be early starts weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota for which overtime rates will apply.
