We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join our Product Support Team. This role is designed for an individual who can thrive in a multi-faceted environment combining the analytical skills of a Business Analyst with the diligence and attention to detail of a Quality Assurance (QA) tester. As our team is compact the ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to wear multiple hats playing a pivotal role in ensuring our products are of the highest quality and meet the business requirements.
What will your job look like
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Engage with internal stakeholders to gather define and document business requirements for product enhancements and new features.
- Analyze business processes identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimize the end-user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to ensure business needs are well-understood and effectively translated into actionable product requirements.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on product direction and priorities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams facilitating clear communication of product functionality limitations and requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups sprint planning and review meetings providing updates on business requirements potential blockers and QA status.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement offering insights and suggestions based on feedback and analysis.
Quality Assurance:
- Design write and execute test cases based on the derived business requirements.
- Identify and report bugs and discrepancies between the implemented product and the business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and diagnose reported issues ensuring they are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in product releases and post-release activities validating that products meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Document business processes requirements test cases and any related artifacts.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor product performance bug trends and usage patterns.
- Regularly communicate findings status updates and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to QA testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
- Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence) and QA tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.
