POSITION SPECIFICS

We are searching for a Facilities Project Manager to join our Project Delivery Division in the Engineering Services Office of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State. This division is responsible for all planning design and implementation of capital facilities improvements at the Lab.

ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.

Your working location will be fully on-site located in State College PA. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. Limited travel (typically day trips) will be necessary to visit project sites at locations outside of State College.

MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

If filled as Facilities Project Manager - Senior Supervisor this position requires: Bachelors Degree 6 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None If filled as Facilities Project Manager - Supervisor this position requires: Bachelors Degree 3 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

ARLs purpose is to research and develop innovative solutions to challenging scientific engineering and technology problems in support of the Navy the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intel Community (IC).

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

All positions at ARL require candidates topossess the ability to obtain a government security clearance; you will be notified during the interview process if this position is subject to a government background investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the ARL will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $76700.00 - $129500.00.**THE PROPOSED SALARY RANGE MAY BE IMPACTED BY GEOGRAPHIC DIFFERENTIAL**
