Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Python Software Engineer to join our Informatics team. The successful candidate should be a strong Python programmer with excellent interpersonal skills.
In this role you will collaborate with key departments across the company that rely on our sequencing software - from teams producing flow cells for both customers and internal use to cutting-edge research groups. Your responsibilities will include delivering requested features communicating software improvements resolving use case-specific issues and optimising processes to align with their needs and improve efficiency. You will be expected to assess and prioritise incoming requests while contributing to the planning of longer-term enhancements. You will also contribute to other projects as part of a Python development team with wide-ranging responsibility for aspects of several products.
The Details:
The successful candidate will work as a key member of an agile team developing software for our sequencing instruments. The team works on new components and features that enable our customers to advance science using our DNA/RNA sequencers.
