Job Description
This is a strategic compliance role focused on implementing international trade controls and optimizing supply chain efficiency. As a Trade Compliance Officer youll guide teams on customs export controls and sanctions compliance across Nordic operations.
Your Responsibilities:
Implement and manage global trade compliance programs
Ensure local alignment with EU export/import regulations and sanctions
Provide internal training and support to supply chain and commercial teams
Engage in audits and help optimize automated trade tools (SAP/SAP GTS)
Collaborate across legal logistics and procurement functions
Ideal Candidate:
Degree in law trade economics or logistics
Experience in EU export controls sanctions and customs compliance
Proficiency in English and Norwegian; other Nordic languages are a plus
Familiarity with HS/ECN classification and material master data is valuable
