Job Description

High Voltage Fitter

Location: Neath (UK based Projects)

OCU Group is a leading provider of utility and infrastructure services across the UK.

Were committed to delivering high-quality sustainable solutions that power and connect communities. As we continue to grow were looking for a skilled High Voltage Fitter to join our dynamic team.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Install and maintain high voltage (up to 400kV) AIS and GIS substation equipment.
  • Work with power transformers switchgear protection panels SCADA systems and more.
  • Perform cable glanding terminations ductor testing and IR testing.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and assemble components to spec.
  • Ensure all work meets DNO/IDNO standards and complies with HSEQ policies.

What Youll Bring:

  • Proven experience in high voltage electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of substation safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent teamwork communication and problem-solving skills.
