Job Description
Respiratory Therapist NICU Permanent Role
- Location: Temple TX 76502
- Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Administer and direct respiratory care services including:
- Oxygen therapy
- Aerosol therapy
- Other therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patients and evaluate their response to therapy.
- Collaborate with attending physicians nurses and other team members to implement patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare protocols.
- Adapt to advanced respiratory support equipment and NICU-specific therapies.
Education:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Care
OR - At least 2 years of experience above the minimum qualification.
Experience:
- Less than 1 year of experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) must be licensed in Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) must have active certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
