Job Description

Construction Project Administrator
Palmetto FL


Full-Time / Direct Hire

About:

Seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsible for coordinating project documentation maintaining compliance supporting financial tracking and assisting with communication across all stakeholders. Ensures efficient execution of project administrative tasks from start to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project teams with admin tasks across all phases.

  • Prepare and manage RFIs submittals meeting minutes schedules and change orders.

  • Maintain digital/hardcopy project files per standards and regulations.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors vendors engineers and agencies on documentation.

  • Control document flow: drawings revisions submittals permits and licenses.

  • Track compliance documents for wastewater projects.

  • Act as liaison between field PMs and external stakeholders.

  • Schedule meetings prep agendas record minutes.

  • Generate daily logs cost and progress reports.

  • Assist with contract deliverables timelines and payment tracking.

  • Help review invoices POs and monitor budget alignment.

  • Maintain safety and environmental compliance records.

  • Support regulatory and client reporting requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates or Bachelors in Construction Management Civil Engineering Business Admin or related (preferred).

  • Experience: 2 5 years in construction/project admin preferably in water/wastewater.

  • Skills: Strong organization multitasking written/verbal communication. Proficiency in Procore/MS Project & Microsoft Office. Knowledge of construction documents and terminology.

  • Certifications: OSHA 10/30 (preferred); familiarity with local/state environmental and wastewater regs is a plus.

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with occasional site visits; standard computer/communication tool usage; exposure to outdoor conditions as needed.
