Job Description
- Provide state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation care in a 36-bed hospital setting
- Deliver ongoing individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses
- Serve patients with stroke brain injury neurological conditions trauma spinal cord injury amputation and orthopedic injuries
- Maximize patient health function and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
- Participate in doctor-supervised neurological rehabilitation for individuals with brain spinal cord or nerve injuries
- Support comprehensive rehabilitation for patients with traumatic or non-traumatic spinal cord injuries focusing on increasing physical emotional and psychological abilities
- Implement specialized and structured care for patients with brain injuries addressing physical cognitive and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to provide specialty stroke rehabilitation aiming for optimal recovery and prevention of complications
- Provide evidence-based multidisciplinary care to amputee patients focusing on restoring strength mobility and independence
- Assist orthopedic patients recovering from fractures dislocations or joint replacements with objectives such as gait and transfer training muscle strengthening and daily living skills
- Help patients transition from hospital to home and community with a focus on maximizing independence and safety
