This is a Promotional Opportunity open only to present classified monthly-salaried employees of the San Diego Unified School District.
PLEASE NOTE: There is currently one (1) full-time position available. This position will work 40 hours per week 12-months per year.
The San Diego Unified School District Integrated Technology Department has one Software Systems Analyst I vacancy. As a member of the Enterprise Systems Support Team this position will perform junior level systems administration duties to support district instructional and business objectives.
The successful candidate will have training knowledge and/or experience with:- Deployment and management techniques for large fleets of end-user devices (Windows Chromebook Mac & iPad)
- Identity and access rights management
- Installation and maintenance of server operating systems and server-based applications
- Administration of cloud-based software as a service (SAAS) applications
- Common server and network protocols including HTTP/HTTPS SSL DNS DHCP and TCP/IP
- Writing scripts to automate tasks or perform bulk operations (experience with PowerShell is highly desirable)
- Planning managing upgrading and the analytical and problem-solving skills to work with an enterprise level email system such as Exchange and email security gateways that filter the inbound and outbound traffic to it.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to graduation from college with a degree in information systems or other related field including or supplemented by courses in systems analysis and server systems administration; experience in the data processing operations field supplemented by college level courses in systems analysis and server systems administration may be substituted for the degree requirement on the basis of two years of experience for one year of college.
