Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of experience or training in accounting auditing bookkeeping or financial operations or computations.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience. Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Prepares payroll for all divisions and departments within the Port of South Louisiana. Prepares payroll-related reports and schedules
- Compiles information and performs calculations to prepare weekly and biweekly state and federal wage reports and schedules. Communicates with various agencies concerning employee withholdings and other payroll-related matters
- Verifies calculations for Deferred Compensation deposits child support and various financial institutions
- Prepare financial reports and monitor reconcile and audit accounts for the Port.
- Review and verify that the information entered into the accounts payable program and all payroll-related invoices are processed accurately.
