Optimize and Transform Our Real Estate Portfolio with Strategic Decision-Making
As our Real Estate Portfolio Manager youll play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our data center portfolio across the Americas through effective asset management process improvement and strategic decision making. You will have the opportunity to participate in all facets of effectively managing a real estate portfolio including lease renewals contract negotiations lease compliance asset management and driving overall portfolio strategy.
Imagine a dynamic environment where youll collaborate with cross-functional teams analyze complex real estate portfolios and make impactful decisions. Your day might involve negotiating lease terms developing strategic recommendations and leveraging data to optimize our real estate strategy.
We are a collaborative group of real estate professionals dedicated to creating efficient and strategic property solutions. Our team focuses on driving innovation reducing costs and supporting our organizations growth objectives through intelligent portfolio management.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the lease renewal pipeline and critical dates perform contract negotiations seek financial and business approvals
Conduct strategic portfolio analysis supporting business stakeholders during the site exit and renewal process
Define KPIs track critical dates and build mechanisms to track key portfolio metrics
Drive portfolio optimization through process improvement cost savings/avoidance and standardized lease language
Negotiate draft and manage lease related legal documents
Partner and seek alignment with internal stakeholders including business development legal finance and economic development
Manage the landlord/tenant relationship through lease compliance escalation and de-escalation
Report on portfolio metrics analyze data and provide monthly/quarterly business updates

Minimum 4 years experience in portfolio management asset management and/or real estate transactions
Ability to read and interpret lease language understand critical lease dates and effectively manage landlord/tenant relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently on complex projects in an ambiguous fast-paced environment
Experience with lease administration software platforms
BS/BA degree in business real estate or equivalent work-related experience
5-7 years of demonstrated experience in portfolio management asset management and/or real estate transactions
Experience in lease administration software platforms such as Tango or equivalent
Experience using real estate pipeline management tools such as Salesforce or equivalent
Experience using data visualization platforms such as Power BI Tableau or equivalent
Experience enforcing lease compliance and managing lease negotiations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $148800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
