Job Description
WT Burnett has an opportunity in our Supply Chain department supporting our Statesville NC manufacturing site. This is a full time day shift position Monday thru Friday. Overtime can vary from 5-10 per week as needed by the business.
This position will oversee the warehouse raw materials and production supplies by ensuring items are accurately received entered into the ERP system and the supply areas are neat and tidy. The Inventory Control Specialist should be a hard-working individual with excellent counting and math ability solid communication skills and problem solving skills who can work independently and adhere to timelines.
The Inventory Control Specialist will:
- Receive supply and raw materials orders and ensure documentation matches
- Unloaded raw materials and ensure they are stored appropriately
- Keep warehouse and raw materials organized and easily accessible to maximize the use of available space
- Perform inventory counts and recounts as needed
- Scan raw materials in the ERP system when they enter the production process
- Pick/pull materials for production and return materials for production
- Complete all daily logs
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with all company state federal policies
Education and Experience:
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel proficiency
- High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift license a plus
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to work independently or in a group/team atmosphere
- Strong organizational or time management skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
Inventory control experience preferred
