Job Description
Description of the role:
University Home Care is currently seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team in Sterling Heights MI. As a Home Health Aide you will provide assistance with daily activities and personal care to patients in their homes helping them maintain a sense of independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing grooming and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Monitor patients health status and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Help patients with medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Requirements:
- Able to help lift client if necessary
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
