Markem-Imaje is a trusted world manufacturer of product identification and traceability solutions offering a full line of reliable and innovative inkjet thermal transfer laser print and apply label systems. The Role:
In this role youll be responsible to secure the availability of direct materials for multiple lines of Markem-Imaje products distributed worldwide. You may be tasked to create and provide production plans to manufacturing departments to ensure that capacity is met and our efficiency is maximized. You will also work to support team-wide projects and department goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the local procurement activities for direct items
- Place orders to internal and external suppliers within inventory management policies
- Monitor deliveries and order confirmations; pro-actively identify supply risks and perform mitigation actions to ensure supply continuity.
- Plan the production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve Safety Quality and Delivery Inventory and Productivity objectives on a daily basis.
- Work closely with the Operations team in relation to efficiency & plan attainment
Job Requirements:
- Related experience in purchasing sourcing or material planning role.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP principles and systems.
- SAP knowledge preferred but not required
- Good knowledge and experience of MS Excel (LOOKUP PIVOT)
- Interpersonal skills; must be able to plan organize and schedule work among employees;
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude and energy.
- Strong team player good work ethic and ability to be flexible and work within a collaborative team environment to meet production and company needs.

Work Arrangement : Onsite
Pay Range: $21.43 - $29.00per hour
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
