Job Description
POSITION TITLE: RMS Girls Volleyball
BUILDING: Riverside Middle School
CONTACT PERSON: Rich Saypack AD
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Springfield School District seeks individuals committed to the schools mission and vision.
- Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility.
- Specifically we are looking for staff members who believe in the mission and vision of the school
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Relentless commitment to raising the academic achievement of all student-athletes.
- Organize and attend all practices and contests.
- Ability to motivate students.
- Ability to individualize instructions.
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of rules and strategies
- Experience as a coach preferred.
- Experience as a player is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for the sport
- Coaching certifications preferred (VPA / NFHS)
- Ability to work effectively with students staff parents administrators and the public.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including afternoons/evenings/weekends.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the athletic director that is sport or coaching-related.
