Your day as a Group Home Supervisor

As a Full-Time Group Home Supervisor at Parzival Supports your primary mission will be to engage deeply with individuals uncovering their aspirations needs and desires. This inspiring role goes beyond management; you will serve as a role model for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) showcasing the best practices for empowering individuals in their journey to live fulfilling lives. By fostering an environment that encourages personal growth and open communication you will strengthen connections among residents and staff enriching the home atmosphere and community involvement. Your leadership will not only guide DSPs but will also create a culture of support and collaboration ensuring everyone feels valued and heard in their pursuit of happiness.

To thrive as a Full-Time Group Home Supervisor at Parzival Supports you will need a diverse set of skills that are crucial for fostering a supportive environment. A High School Diploma or GED is required along with the ability to obtain a valid state drivers license. Proficiency in reading writing and communicating effectively in proper English is essential as excellent oral and written communication skills will enable you to interact professionally with staff parents and individuals alike. Your interpersonal and conflict resolution skills will be vital allowing you to manage challenges while maintaining positive relationships. Being able to perform manual tasks based on verbal and written instructions is necessary alongside the physical ability to lift light to medium objects and stand for extended periods.

Additionally having a dependable attendance record and a willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification demonstrates your commitment to safety and excellence in service delivery.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state drivers license prior to employment
