Job Description

Business Systems Analyst Guidewire PolicyCenter (Insurance)

Drive enterprise digital transformation in the insurance industry as a Business Systems Analyst specializing in Guidewire Policy Center. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead Agile teams optimize workflows and shape IT solutions in a high-impact client-facing environment.

Salaried: $58-63 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $67-72 per hour.
6-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid model 3 days per week on-site subject to change.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate on project planning prioritization and business solution design.
Ensure consistent focus on the core business problem the initiative is addressing.
Define and manage project scope with input from stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Lead working sessions and communicate project updates across organizational levels.
Actively monitor sprint plans and drive process optimization.
Support both business and technical teams in achieving deliverables.
Identify and mitigate project issues and blockers.
Recommend and implement project and process improvements.

What you will need to succeed:

5 years of Business Systems Analyst experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Guidewire Policy Center Ace Certification.
Experience as a Scrum Master.
3 years of experience in personal insurance.
CIP designation preferred or strong insurance knowledge.
Experience with digital implementations (asset).
Experience with system conversion projects (asset).
Strong customer and business focus.
Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management.
Consistent focus on business outcomes and benefits.
Exceptional critical thinking analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Strong process orientation when maintaining project documentation.
Effective time management and follow-up skills.
Proven team player team builder and driver.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
