Job Description

 

  • Develop and implement SOPs for sample production processes
  • Maintain production data for samples in the system.
  • Use production report to maintain adequate stock levels of samples.
  • Manage storage of materials needed for sample production.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of materials needed for sample production.
  • Procure materials needed for sample production.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy for items and locations.
  • Maintain cutting/finishing equipment used in sample production. 
  • Assigns production tasks to team members based on production needs and individual abilities.
  • Teach coach and train employees to achieve optimal output and/or workflow.
  • Oversee Quality Control of samples produced including but not limited to; smooth and crisp cut edges proper placement of backing cards and labels proper labels used for corresponding product clean/neat finished product.
  • Fill in for Production Assemblers and Leads as needed and for training purposes.
  • Manually lift move sort carry or place materials in and out or crates pallets or other storage solutions
  • Inspect use and maintain industrial equipment in good working order.    
  • Enforce company policies and guidelines.
  • Interview hire and train employees.
  • Maintain records for employee attendance and provides required training to all employees.
  • Use wireless Radio Frequency (RF) device or desktop computer to perform all necessary functions.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED.  
  • 2 years previous leadership experience in a production environment.   
  • Ability to read and write in English. 
  • Strong work ethic.  
  • Sit-down Forklift reach truck and order picker experience required. Current certification or ability to be certified within 30 days of start date. 
  • Basic organizational mathematical and computer skills. 
  • Knowledge of proper safety measures. 
  • Ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs. regularly and frequently up to and over 100 lbs. 
  • Ability to work at varying heights. 
  • Ability to stand frequently as well as the ability to walk sit balance stoop kneel or crouch. 
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
