Oversees all aspects of hotel restaurant and spa operations ensuring smooth daily functioning profitability and exceptional guest are responsible for managing staff maintaining budgets implementing business strategies and fostering a positive work environment. Essentially they are the leaders who set the direction for the hotel property and ensure all departments work towards the same goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Developing and managing the hotels budget forecasting revenue and expenses analyzing financial performance and implementing cost-saving measures.
Staff Management:
Recruiting hiring training and supervising staff fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of customer service.
Guest Relations:
Ensuring guest satisfaction handling complaints and implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience.
Strategic Planning:
Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue market share and profitability including sales and marketing initiatives.
Compliance:
Ensuring the hotel adheres to all relevant laws regulations and policies.
Maintaining Standards:
Upholding the hotels brand image service standards and overall quality.
Overall Operations Management:
Overseeing all hotel departments (front desk housekeeping food & beverage maintenance etc.) to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
Essential Skills:
In essence the hotel innkeeper & general manager is the driving force behind the hotels success responsible for both the operational and financial aspects of the business while ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every guest.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years of hotel management experience
- love of Maine
