Job Description
Provide technical leadership and expertise in the planning design and construction of tunnels for infrastructure projects including roads highways and bridges
Lead the development and implementation of tunnel design concepts methodologies and solutions ensuring compliance with project requirements codes and standards
Collaborate with project teams clients and stakeholders to define project objectives scope and specifications for tunnel design and construction
Lead the preparation and review of tunnel design documents including drawings specifications calculations and technical reports ensuring accuracy and quality
Provide technical guidance and support to project managers engineers and other team members throughout the project lifecycle including tendering procurement and construction phases
Conduct technical reviews and inspections of tunnel construction activities materials and equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
Stay current with industry trends best practices and technological advancements in tunnel design construction and maintenance incorporating new methodologies and tools into project delivery processes.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in tunnel engineering and construction with a focus on infrastructure projects
Proven track record of successful tunnel projects including design construction and maintenance phases
Strong technical expertise in tunnel engineering geotechnical engineering and structural engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in spoken and written English (minimum B2 level)
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
