To manage and develop a team of Forecasting associates and ensure high client satisfaction through the timely delivery of high-quality research studies with the focus on forecasting studies.
To act as a consultant to clients and internal staff on study and research and design issues related to these types of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct performance reviews for direct reports (AM SRA) from the Forecasting team.
Provide constructive and consistent feedback to direct reports
Provide guidance and support on tools and methods to direct reports
Responsible for the training and development of his/her team. Ensure team members are trained to handle client requirements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
Provide direction and consult with analytical staff on simulations and possible adjustments as well as specific forecasting issues whenever necessary
Support the sales team in the preparation of client proposals with appropriate study designs and cost information
Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the companys quality standards
Supervise all stages of project management and monitors performance
Review data for errors and inconsistencies
Review final deliverables before delivery to clients
Consult with clients regarding forecasts & general forecasting questions
Lead client meetings and presentations in person & as needed
Develop strategic understanding of industry trends competition and opportunities of NielsenIQ
Strengthen the Innovation Practice external leadership through the development of Innovation thought leadership and client specific meta-analysis
Work effectively and efficiently within a virtual environment
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of;
Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
Statistics research techniques and experimental procedures
Knowledge of marketing research including forecasting pricing studies and choice modeling
Knowledge of in-market data
Strong knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry
Skills
Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills
Deep understanding of the principles of forecasting & Nielsen Innovation Pricing and Portfolio solutions
Strong Business English and Italian knowledge both verbal and written
Good business and financial acumen (including business environment and client)
Good analytical skills
Good communication skills
Consultative story telling
Comfortable working in a digital enabled environment
Time management/ multi-tasking skills
Education and Experience
University degree in Marketing Economics or related field a must preferred Postgraduate or MBA
Experience of leading client consulting projects
Experience of working with international teams
Experience in FMCG Innovation Forecasting
Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
Very good knowledge of advanced analysis methods and tools
Ability to travel
Fluent in Italian and English
