Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- You will be an instrumental team member in the global team to define and automate the creation of new projects and resources in Google Cloud
- You will Manage and tune the scaling and performance of the environments and its technology components such as MySQL elasticsearch and mongoDB
- You will be in charge of further hardening and securing the environments. Automate further with Sec&Pen tests and take immediate action on any security alerts.
- You will be responsible for planning and executing upgrades on both system and application level for the environments
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- 5 years of experience in Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS Azure and GCP (Compute Networking Storage).
- Strong scripting skills using Python Shell/Bash PowerShell or JavaScript for automation via API/CLI.
- Manage IAM console operations security controls and ensure cloud cost efficiency.
- Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi environments (upgrades patching troubleshooting high availability).
- Support DevOps practices and tools (Terraform Ansible Jenkins CI/CD pipelines).
- Maintain and patch OS images/templates per security guidelines.
- High proficiency in Linux (LDAP monitoring storage mgmt. scripting performance tuning) and Windows (AD SCOM MS SQL clustering PowerShell).
Good to Have:
- Exposure to Oracle/IBM cloud platforms.
- Networking knowledge (Juniper/Cisco DNS DHCP VPN L3 routing IPv6).
- Understanding of storage technologies (NetApp EMC Pure SAN/NAS/iSCSI/FC).
- Familiarity with enterprise tools (F5 Weblogic Websphere Tivoli Netcool).
- Monitoring tools experience (Zabbix Dynatrace Splunk Nagios etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow and hardware/software procurement processes.
