Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Engineer to join our operations team in Clonshaugh Dublin 17. The operations engineer role is dynamic and central to our teams success
offering a wide range of responsibilities. Youll play a key role in driving projects including serving as the main manufacturing contact for NPI projects supporting compliance efforts and ensuring smooth operations. Facilitating inter-departmental communication and promoting a culture of continuous improvement are essential elements of the role. Youll track important metrics uphold safety and environmental standards and support various training initiatives. Additionally youll concentrate on identifying and engaging in strategic initiatives. Throughout these efforts youll ensure compliance with safety regulatory operational and organisational requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Document Procedure and Process Streamlining updates.
  • Act as point of contact for operations equipment and NPI projects.
  • Support and implement compliance initiatives.
  • Support Regulatory or other inspections and audits.
  • Develop inter-departmental communication planning
  • Support measurement and tracking department metrics
  • Adhere to and support all EHS & Environmental standards procedures and policies.
  • Champion Operational Excellence within the department to drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Facilitate and track progress of departmental CIPs and work with leads to ensure that project milestones are achieved
  • Ensure department is maintaining processes and tools: eg (6S Tier boards...)
  • Support Operations training as necessary
  • Attend monthly (or quarterly) OpEx governance meetings with the Operations Senior Manager & OpEx Manager) to discuss progress and identify opportunities for future improvement

Qualifications :

  • Degree qualification or equivalent in relevant science or engineering discipline and suitable experience.
  • Strong track record of troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.  
  • High level of attention to detail and mental concentration to always ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures and to identify areas and actions for improvement.
  • Must be results driven striving to meet all targets and metric standards as set by site/department and division leaders
  • High level of communication and time management skills to effectively promote the execution of all manufacturing projects in line with quality safety environmental and operational requirements.
