Key Responsibilities Barista

As a Barista youll support the smooth running of the Barista Coffee Bar and help deliver a warm welcoming experience for every visitor. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and service of high-quality coffee and beverages ensuring consistency and attention to detail in every drink
• Supporting the Barista team in delivering seasonal and monthly coffee specials helping with preparation presentation and customer engagement
• Creating a friendly and engaging customer experience offering excellent service with a positive attitude
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area including equipment counters and seating spaces
• Helping with stock rotation and restocking ensuring ingredients and supplies are available and well managed
• Following food safety and hygiene standards including allergen awareness and daily cleaning routines
• Assisting with promotional displays and campaigns such as setting up signage for specials or themed drinks
• Working collaboratively with the wider catering team supporting service in the Caf Restaurant Playbarn Caf and events as needed
• Contributing ideas and feedback to help keep the coffee offer fresh fun and engaging for visitors

Qualifications :

 What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Barista in a busy high-quality caf or hospitality environment
• A passion for great coffee customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
• Confidence in using espresso machines and preparing a wide range of hot and cold drinks to a consistently high standard
• A creative flair for developing seasonal and monthly specials
• Experience in stock management including ordering rotation and minimising waste
• A proactive approach to creating engaging campaigns including designing posters and working with the team to promote specials
• Highly organised detail-oriented and calm under pressure especially during peak service times
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive solution-focused attitude
• Willingness to work 5 out of 7 days including weekends and evenings as required
