About the Role

BHP is seeking aSpecialist Technology Insightsto join a Technology for Technologyteam. This team empowers BHPs digital functions by delivering and managing enterprise platforms and tools includingServiceNow in a collaborative federated model.
In this12-month fixed-term role you will be a key contributor to identifying opportunities for automation within IT Service Management (ITSM) designing and developing digital solutions and measuring their effectiveness. Youll work in a hybrid team environment applying your expertise indigital process automation analytics and data science to solve problems and enhance productivity across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and remove blockers to team performance through data insights and process automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver data-driven automation solutions including chat/agent engineering.
- Design develop test and measure the effectiveness of automation products.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in data science analytics and automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models and automation workflows.
About You
You are a confident team player and continuous learner who thrives on innovation and improvement. You bring a strong mix of technical expertise and problem-solving ability with a passion for delivering value through technology.
To be successful you will ideally have:
- Experience withServiceNowVirtual AgentCommon Services Data Model and ITSM applications.
- Strong analytical creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience inData Scienceand/orDigital Process Automation.
- Familiarity withAgile methodologies(e.g. User Stories Retrospectives Backlog Refinement).
- Knowledge of industry-relevant technologies in automation and data science.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Industry framework knowledge about ITIL and Service Management Operations (highly regarded).
- A degree inSTEMorBusiness (highly regarded).
Location
You will be based in Perth Western Australia in the multi award winning office tower - City Square. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues. You will be working on Monday to Friday roster with 3-2-1 arrangement. Three days from the office two days from home one of those days must be a Monday or Friday.
