Job Description
Our product team at Sportsdigita is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer who is passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences. Youll collaborate closely with Product Managers Engineers and fellow Designers to help shape the DIGIDECK platform and other interactive offerings. This role is perfect for someone early in their career whos eager to gain hands-on experience across the full design processfrom concept and prototyping to user testing and validating designs before production.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in the design of user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile platforms.
Create wireframes mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
Support user research and usability testing efforts to collect actionable feedback.
Independently test and validate UI/UX implementations before features are deployed to production.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate and high-quality execution of design specs.
Maintain and evolve design systems patterns and documentation.
Apply best practices in accessibility responsiveness and interaction design.
Stay up to date with UI/UX trends and propose ideas to enhance the product experience.
Required Skills
02 years of experience in UI/UX design (academic or internship experience welcome).
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe XD or similar.
Foundational understanding of user-centered design principles.
Familiarity with usability testing A/B testing and quality assurance for UX.
Basic knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
A strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and problem-solving (can include personal or academic projects).
Desired Skills
Experience with digital product design in a SaaS environment.
Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) for improved dev collaboration.
Familiarity with Agile workflows and project tools like Jira Trello or Notion.
Passion for sports storytelling and the impact of great user experiences.
