Job Description

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Engineer to oversee the design implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes and the maintenance repair and operation of our facilities ensuring a safe efficient and well-maintained environment. The successful candidate will manage maintenance teams develop preventive maintenance programs and optimize facility operations via process improvements.


Key Responsibilities


*Process Design and Development*

Design and develop manufacturing processes and equipment.

Conduct feasibility studies and process simulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams.


*Process Optimization*

Analyze and improve existing processes.

Implement lean manufacturing principles.

Reduce costs increase efficiency and enhance quality.


*Team Management*

Lead mentor and develop process engineering staff.

Manage project assignments schedules and resources.


*Safety and Compliance*

Ensure compliance with regulations codes and industry standards.

Conduct regular safety audits and training.


*Facilities Management*

Oversee daily operations maintenance and repairs of facilities equipment and systems.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations codes and industry standards.


*Maintenance Operations*

Supervise maintenance staff including hiring training and performance management.

Coordinate maintenance schedules work orders and inventory management.

Troubleshoot equipment and system issues.


*Capital Projects*

Plan budget and execute facility upgrades renovations and expansions.

Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors.


*Safety and Compliance*

Ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and local regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and training.


*Budgeting and Cost Control*

Manage departmental budgets and reduce costs.

Analyze maintenance costs identify savings opportunities.

Requirements

*Requirements*

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field

2. 5 years of process engineering management experience

Electrical Engineering or related field

5 years of facilities and maintenance management experience

Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

Certification in facilities management or maintenance engineering (e.g. CFM PEM)


*Preferred Qualifications*

Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency principles

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations
