40Summary:
Under the direction of the Employee Relations Director the People Resource Manager will support the assigned area anticipating HR-related needs and communicate proactively with all employees. Responsible for providing consultation across a broad range of HR areas including talent management staffing employee relations workforce planning diversity succession management and employee development. The People Resource Manager maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position its mid-range plans its culture and its competition. Must be able to travel between multiple buildings and campuses.
Education:
Bachelor degree required masters degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of five years work experience in health care human resources or organizational development required.
Working knowledge of at least one human resource disciplines including employee relations talent acquisition compensation practices benefits diversity performance management and federal and state employment laws. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to consult with partner and influence leaders and staff across the organization. Flexibility to cope with fast changing and complex environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel Access and PowerPoint.
Certification/Licensure:
PHR SHRM-CP or SPHR preferred.
