DescriptionThe Senior Logistics Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing cost reduction and work process improvement projects monitoring logistics performance and supporting bid negotiations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams analyzing performance metrics and optimizing freight routes to achieve cost and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities- Cost Reduction Projects:Develop and implement cost reduction and work process improvement projects in collaboration with Business Partners.
- Logistics Results Accountability:Accountable for key inbound and outbound logistics results and systems identifying root causes and countermeasures for gaps in results.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitor the performance of third-party service companies and carriers to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Bid Negotiations:Support bid negotiations and award compliance.
- Exception Management:Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ad hoc exception management of carriers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help deliver service and cost reduction goals.
- Performance Metrics Analysis:Analyze and improve performance metrics versus performance goals.
- Solution Proposals:Autonomously propose solutions to benefit cost and efficacy.
- Data Analysis:Collect validate interpret and analyze complex data to identify issues and trends supporting fact-based transportation decision-making.
- Network Optimization:Seek opportunities for network optimization through consolidation of shipments process improvement and development of analytics tools and mechanisms.
- Freight Cost Control:Control inbound and outbound freight costs and maintain an appropriate balance between lead time and cost.
- Capacity Procurement:Procure capacity for special projects and approve spot rates.
- Route Optimization:Identify and implement opportunities to optimize freight routes consolidate shipments and leverage technology to minimize transportation costs.
- Freight Spend Analysis:Conduct in-depth analysis of freight spend and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Budget Management:Manage logistics budget develop financial reports drive cost productivity and oversee talent management including recruitment development and succession planning.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have Bachelors Degree or higher in business supply chain or logistics
- Must have two (2) years of working experience of Supply Chain Logistics or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a Masters Degree or higher in Business
- Have working experience in transportation analysis logistics or supply chain management.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have proficiency in logistics software and systems
- Have experience building/editing Dashboards in Tableau or similar software
- Have LEAN certification/Six Sigma training
