Position Overview:
The Associate Manager plays a key role in managing the daily operations of the closely with the General Manager you will help ensure efficient operations excellent customer service productive team performance and adherence to company standards. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence customer service and team position offers exciting opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic retail environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Participates in the hiring training and development of employees.
Participates in performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Participates in discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Manages the daily workflow of the store.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of store operations including but not limited to opening and closing procedures inventory management and cash handling.
Conduct regular inventory counts stock replenishment and product ordering to ensure adequate inventory levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Monitor and maintain facility cleanliness including both the interior and exterior.
Assist in implementing promotional activities displays/merchandising and marketing initiatives.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers addressing inquiries and concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Train coach and mentor store associates to deliver high-quality service and uphold company standards.
Adhere to and enforce company policies & procedures including compliance with safety security and regulatory requirements as well as food safety standards.
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Basic financial acumen including budgeting and cost control.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems preferred.
Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on business needs including short notice for store coverage.
Education/Certifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
ServSafe Certification you do not currently have this certification Leos Market & Eatery pays for and will coordinate your completion of the program.
Previous retail experience preferably in a convenience store or similar environment.
Physical Demands:
Constantly standing walking reaching with hands & arms using hands and fingers to handle & feel and talking & lifting or exerting force up to five (5) pounds.
Frequently stooping kneeling crouching twisting & bending tasting & lifting or exerting force up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
Occasionally pushing pulling climbing sitting and lifting or exerting force up to fifty (50) pounds.
