Job Description
Job Summary:
Cronin Ford North is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Parts Counter person . In this role you will work alongside experienced Parts Sales Representatives to learn the ins and outs of the dealerships parts department. This is a full-time hourly position that requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will receive hands-on training and have the opportunity to grow within the company.
Compensation & Benefits:
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $21 hour paid semimonthly. In addition employees have access to a variety of benefits including health insurance retirement plans and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Collision Center with their parts needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Receive and fill orders for parts and accessories while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
- Learn and familiarize yourself with the dealerships inventory management system.
- Work collaboratively with the parts sales team and other departments to meet customer needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and stay informed on new or updated parts.
- Drive occasionally to vendors and other dealerships to pick up/drop off parts
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
- Passion for the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work some Saturdays.
